EV chargers
Charge an electric car at home or at work. Charger selection, power and protection account for the electrical installation and potential use of on-site energy.

Selecting an EV charger
An EV charger, such as a wallbox, charges an electric vehicle where it is parked. We select equipment for the vehicle, available power and how it will be used. The design considers the building’s electrical installation, required protection and parking location, at home or on business premises.
- Charging at the vehicle’s regular parking location
- Power and protection matched to the installation
- Potential use of electricity from your own solar panels
Where can it be used?
- Home garages
- Parking spaces
- Business car parks
- Buildings with solar panels

Power and installation safety
We assess connection capacity, building load, electrical specifications and the vehicle’s charging capabilities. Selection includes cables, protective devices and mounting conditions. The aim is a correctly installed system suited to actual requirements and technical limits.
Charging controls
How charging starts and which settings are available depend on the selected equipment. Where load management is supported, other building loads can be considered. Control functions and metering requirements are confirmed for the specific charger and configuration.
Charging with on-site energy
A charger can work with solar panels and battery storage where the overall system supports integration. This can use part of the on-site generation for vehicle charging. The extent depends on available energy, parking times, equipment compatibility and controls.
